PEEPS

March 21, 2008

peepbunny.gif Peeps chicks come in five colors, listed here in order of popularity: yellow, pink, lavender, blue, and white.

In 1953, Peeps were made by hand with a pastry tube. Making one Peep took about 27 hours! Today, Peeps can be made in just six minutes.

In the factory is a machine whose sole job it is to give the Peeps their peepers, which are actually tiny dots of an edible wax. The machine can pump out 3,800 eyes per minute.

March 21, 2008

Living in Mississippi has me making food decisions that I’ve really never been faced with. I grew up in a suburban area where healthy food was readily available.

FRESH this and ORGANIC that was everywhere you looked. In Mississippi however, it’s more along the lines of DOUBLE FRIED this and EXTRA CREAMY that. Let’s put it this way…. I never knew there was such a thing as a FRIED STEAK.

This is a a simple, practical reference book that you WILL use!

Now…. when faced with the choice of ordering off the dollar menu, or starving… I will be armed with knowledge !

This book it more then just FAST FOOD reviews… it covers everything from what to eat when feeling fat to what not to eat on Thanksgiving and Easter.
