  1. I like that you do research, red the short bit about the Obama vid, and heartily agree with you. I could use a friend who thinks as critically as yourself. I am an artist, and presently am working on looking for a grad school which means I am putting together the justifications for my work which I intend to base around the normalcy which occurs after a drastic change caused by human action. This intent isn’t always clear in my artworks, however it is there. And of course, research is about getting closer to things, not being at the destination in the first place. …That is typically someone being falsely self-confident.

  2. I was encouraged by this picture and post and so I wanted to share it with others who, like me, live with the consequences of doing the right thing. I hope you approve…

Dr. Lill, my problem is my eyesight, which blurs vertical letters to the extent that I frequently misspell your name. The “i” and the two “l’s” kind of run all together, and then I’m tempted to refer to you as “Dr. Lil,” which is just so WRONG.

The worst thing is that I encourage people to come to you for any manner of help and wise counsel, but in the course of doing so I’ve spelled your name wrong. So in advising them, I seem like I myself am in need of advice, or perhaps a dictionary, or at least better glasses.

Do you think I need to go back to all those I have sent your way and communicate my error? Or should I let sleeping “l’s” lie?
